Hochkrimml is the place to be for those looking for a certainty of snow. This resort is tailored toward the winter sports enthusiast and offers sunny, snow-covered downhill runs with a long season that runs from the start of December well into April. The village itself is quieter than the neighbouring Königsleiten and is therefore ideal for guests looking for somewhere they can relax. That being said, there’s plenty to keep yourself occupied from morning until night. It’s little wonder this beautiful part of Austria is quickly becoming a popular choice for ski and winter sports enthusiasts, with an ample choice of accommodation.

Why choose the high alpine resorts? Well, for one there’s the breathtaking views they offer. The freedom of being able to walk out of the door and start skiing almost immediately is incomparable. If you’re after a true ski-in, ski-out experience, this is the place to be. This area is particularly impressive, with the lowest point still standing at a whopping 1,400 metres in altitude.
