Closure of Ski Resorts 2024-25

In early November, the first ski resort in the vicinity of ChaletsPlus holiday homes opened its doors for winter sports enthusiasts. Kitzbühel & Kirchberg, also known as Kitzski, had the honour of being the first to open this year. The 2024/’25 season is now almost over, but fortunately, you don’t need to switch into summer mode just yet. In this blog, you will find out when the ski resorts close their doors and where you can still enjoy snow-covered pistes in April if you want to ‘tear’ down the slopes!
The first resort closes on Monday, 31st March 2025, and the last one on Sunday, 27th April. There are still plenty of places in April where you can enjoy the snowy pistes, Austrian delicacies like a wheat beer, Käsespätzle, or Kaiserschmarrn, and the sunshine on the terrace! This year, you can even ski until Easter (21st April 2025) in most resorts. So, don’t forget your sunglasses and sunscreen, because skiing in April is possible this year, and it means plenty of enjoyment in the sun, snow, and good company!
