Opening Ski Areas 2024/25
At the beginning of November, the first ski resort in the vicinity of ChaletsPlus holiday homes opened its doors to winter sports enthusiasts. Kitzbühel & Kirchberg, or KitzSki, once again takes the honour this year. A small part of the area opened on November 8, and the ski resorts of Obertauern and Saalbach-Hinterglemm have also, partly or fully, opened their doors to winter sports fans.
However, the real start of the winter sports season begins on Friday, December 6. Most ski resorts will open their slopes, and you can strap on your skis to conquer the freshly snow-covered pistes. You can also indulge in Austrian delights such as a Weizen beer, Käsespätzle, or Kaiserschmarrn. Just a little more patience, and you’ll be able to enjoy après-ski or relax by the fireplace or in the sauna. In short, it’s almost the time of year that every winter sports enthusiast looks forward to!
