Enter through a small hallway and pass into the living room which boasts a comfortable sitting area, complete with 2-person sofa-bed. A cozy dining area is perfect for game gatherings or for serving up meals you’ve cooked in the fully equipped kitchen. From the living room, ascend the stairs to the bedroom floor, with three bedrooms in total. Each bedroom has a double bed, with one bedroom featuring its own en suite bathroom. You’ll also find another bathroom on this floor, as well as a separate toilet. This property is located a short driving distance of no less than 15 minutes the villages of Mariapfarr and Mauterndorf, making it very practical when it comes to picking up supplies for your stay.
In winter, you can head to the slopes of the family-friendly skiing area of Fanningberg from this chalet. If you’re after more pistes, the nearby resorts of Grosseck-Speiereck and Katschberg-Aineck are within easy reach if you’re driving. You can also catch the free ski shuttle bus to both destinations. Mariapfarr lies in the Lungau; a small, beautiful region of the Salzburger region. The ski areas here are appropriately small and attractive, although the 30 kilometres on offer pack in plenty to provide everything a skier could wish for. There are wide, flat slopes for beginners and family groups, while a selection of rapid steep slopes offers the more experienced skier something to look forward to. Mariapfarr itself is the most major town in its municipality, with a historic village centre that has everything a holidaymaker could ever wish for. Fanning is located a little further uphill, located within close proximity to the ski lifts that offer you an easy way to make the 2,400-metre ascent.
