This luxurious detached chalet has plenty of personality with its tasteful décor, not to mention a prime location at an altitude of 1,500 metres on the mountain slopes. At this height, you can enjoy fantastic views of the mountainous landscape around you. Upon entering the property, you’ll find yourself in a hallway that then leads into a living space. Here you’ll find a comfortable sitting area that includes a 2-person sofa-bed, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and intimate dining area. From the living room, you can take the stairs up to the bedroom level of the chalet. There are three bedrooms in total, each with a double bed. One of the bedrooms also has its own private en suite bathroom. A shared bathroom and separate toilet are also situated on this floor. With so much space and ample sleeping quarters, this property will comfortably accommodate groups of up to 8 people.
In winter, you’ll be glad to know you’re right on the slopes of the family-friendly Fanningberg ski area. The nearby Grosseck-Speireck and Katschberg Aineck are both easily accessible by free shuttle bus, while driving routes are straightforward for those with their own transport. When you’re done after a particularly physical day on the slopes, put your free one-time pass for local sauna to good use and give your body the rest and relaxation it needs.
In summer, there is plenty to discover in the vicinity of Fanningberg. Catch a ride aboard the stream train and enjoy spectacular views of Austria’s tallest narrow gauge from your window. Mariapfarr lies in the Lungau; a small, beautiful region of the Salzburger region. The ski areas here are appropriately small and attractive, although the 30 kilometres on offer pack in plenty to provide everything a skier could wish for. There are wide, flat slopes for beginners and family groups, while a selection of rapid steep slopes offers the more experienced skier something to look forward to. Mariapfarr itself is the most major town in its municipality, with a historic village centre that has everything a holidaymaker could ever wish for. Fanning is located a little further uphill, located within close proximity to the ski lifts that offer you an easy way to make the 2,400-metre ascent.
