This spacious penthouse apartment is located on the third floor of the Mountain Resort in Dienten am Hochkönig. Upon entering the 135 m2 apartment, you will immediately notice the attractive finish with nods to the typical Austrian features. What a warm welcome! The spacious semi-open kitchen is fully equipped, including an American fridge and dishwasher. The cosy living room with a dining table provides easy access to the balcony with stunning views of the mountain. In the comfortable sitting area, you can relax and watch TV or enjoy a crackling fire by the large fireplace. The sleeping accommodation is divided across three bedrooms. Two rooms have a double bed (of which one wit flat screen TV) and the master bedroom with a king-size double bed, double sofa bed, and flat screen TV. This large bedroom also offers access to the second covered balcony and has a private bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. There is also a shared bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower, sink and toilet. As the icing on the cake, you can relax in the apartment complex's communal area and/or sauna.
In winter, you can't beat it in terms of location; the Mountain Resort is located directly on the ski slope in the Hochkönig ski area. The novice winter sports enthusiast can go to the ski school located nearby at Mountain Resort Top 13. The experienced winter sports enthusiast can immediately get started on the skis or the board. Don't forget alternative winter activities! How about a fat bike ride or horseback riding in the snow? You could whiz down the toboggan run in Dienten or one of the surrounding villages of Maria Alm and Mühlbach. After all these vigorous winter activities, you can warm up together by a crackling fire in the penthouse, where you can extensively share the winter sports adventures of that day.
In the summer, there's no better way of starting the day than with a cup of coffee or tea on the balcony with a mountain view. After a delicious breakfast around the dining table (did you know that you can have fresh bread rolls delivered with the bread service?), it's time to hit the road. In nearby Maria Alm is the Prinzenberg Natrun outdoor centre where you can follow a course between the trees and whiz off the Flying Fox! Are you looking for a more educational outing? Visit the mine museum! The area around Hochkönig is also ideal for beautiful cycling or walking tours. In addition, the Hochkönig summer card is included in the booking!
