In winter, you'll be located directly on the ski slope and near the gondola of Ainek-Katschberg's ski area. The apartment is really a ski-in, ski-out type of place. Within walking distance of the gondola, you will find all kinds of facilities, such as a large ski depot, a sports shop, and a ski school. The ski area of Aineck-Katschberg is ideal for families and has many kilometres of blue, red, and black slopes. The 6-kilometre-long slope, A1, is a must for avid skiers since it""s one of the longest slopes in Austria! The apartment has its own ski storage room with a ski boot dryer, which means you can look forward to wearing dry boots every morning! At the end of the day, curl up by the fire and relax, so you can plan out the next day of excitement.
In summer, the Lungau region offers various possibilities for a wonderful holiday. Visit various castles, including one that's in Mauterndorf, or you can explore historic churches and fascinating museums. Alternatively, take a nostalgic ride on the steam train that travels over the Taurachbahn. It is the highest narrow-gauge railway in Austria. During your holiday, you can take advantage of the LungauCard, which comes included with your stay.
