Panorama Appartement 1

Description

You can enjoy a wonderful holiday with up to six people in this comfortable apartment, located just 10 minutes from the village centre of Mauterndorf. The sleeping area is divided into two bedrooms, both with double beds. There is also a two-person sofa bed in the comfortable sitting area in the living room. The cosy dining space invites you to enjoy a beautiful meal or to play games, and you can prepare delicious meals in the well-equipped corner kitchen. The apartment has two neatly finished bathrooms and there is one parking space at the house. Because the apartment is on the ground floor, you also have access to a lovely, spacious garden with a terrace and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

In winter, your sports equipment and gear can be stored in the ski storage room, which is equipped with a ski boot dryer. The ski bus is within walking distance of the apartment and takes you to Grosseck-Speiereck, the ski area with the most sun hours of Austria, in just five minutes, or in a quarter of an hour to the vast ski area of Obertauern. Alternatively, head out to the Fanningberg ski area. There is a ski school in Mauterndorf where you can learn the best ski or snowboard techniques. If you want a break from the slopes, enjoy a winter walk along the castle of Mauterndorf, take a trip down the toboggan run or eat a snack in an Austrian restaurant in the village centre. Once back at the apartment, you can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat after the adventures earlier that day.

In summer, start your day with a delicious breakfast in the fresh Austrian air while the children play in the spacious garden. Once you venture out, the charming village of Mauterndorf has much to offer, including a heated outdoor pool with slide, waterfalls and rapids, miniature golf, tennis courts and various shops and restaurants. A chance to visit the castle should not be missed! For golf enthusiasts, there are several courses nearby. There’s even the opportunity to go horseback riding – the Lungau has a rider network about 100 km long. During your stay, you can receive discounts and access free activities with the included LungauCard.

Four ski resorts and a plenty of alpine romance

Mauterndorf lies at an altitude of just under 1,100 metres in the middle of the Lungau, the south-eastern tip of the Salzburger Land on the border with Styria. Here you can enjoy fantastic local cuisine, many hours of sunshine and a family-friendly environment. Mauterndorf itself is a friendly village with a historic old town and is breath-taking scenery. From here you have access to four ski resorts. Nearby are Großeck-Speiereck, which reaches up to 2,400 metres, as well as Katschberg-Aineck on the border to Carinthia with 70km of slopes and the smaller Fanningberg as an ideal family area. Obertauern with its 100km of slopes is a little further away. In addition to regular skiing, Mauterndorf offers many opportunities for cross-country skiers. In fact, the cross-country ski runs start right in the village! With us, you can find a cosy place to call your own during your stay in this enchanting part of Austria.
