Imagine yourself in an Austrian atmosphere that's located just 10 minutes from the charming village of Mauterndorf. Chalet Heléna has a traditional Austrian design and can accommodate up to 12 guests. The holiday home has a large kitchen with a breakfast bar and a spacious dining area. The living room has a comfortable sitting area, a TV, and a traditional Austrian-style stove with extra seating. There are five bedrooms in total: four of the bedrooms have a double bed apiece, including one with an ensuite bathroom. The fifth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds as well as an extra seat. All of the beds, including the bunk beds, are 2.10 meters in length. The bathrooms are also fully equipped. There's even a luxurious relaxation area. You can lounge in the Finnish sauna, or enjoy a dip in the hot tub. Chalet Heléna has lovely terraces, a balcony, and a large garden. Two vehicles can be parked in the garage, and there's also a charging point for electric cars. In addition, there are two outdoor parking spaces available as well.
In winter, you can warm up by the Austrian stove after a day in the snow. Store your winter sports equipment in the ski storage room, which also has a ski boot dryer, so you can ensure everything is ready for the next day. If you take the ski bus that stops within 250 meters of the chalet, you can be on the slopes at Grosseck/Speiereck or Obertauern in no time at all. Ski Resort Fanningberg is also an exciting option. Beyond skiing, there""s still so much to do in this area! The impressive castle is definitely worth a visit, and you can enjoy beautiful winter walks. There""s also an incredible illuminated toboggan run nearby, which is certainly a must for every visitor.
In summer, guests of all ages can enjoy the comforts that Chalet Heléna can offer. Children can play in the spacious garden while you enjoy beautiful views from the terrace. During your holiday, you can also make use of the ‘LungauCard’, which comes included with the chalet rental. The card can provide you with special savings and free access to various activities and events in the area, including mini golf, the Outdoorparc Lungau, and several museums.

Mauterndorf lies at an altitude of just under 1,100 metres in the middle of the Lungau, the south-eastern tip of the Salzburger Land on the border with Styria.
