Nationalpark Chalet Grosser Geiger

Description

This detached chalet is part of the National Park Chalets in Neukirchen. Every holiday home is named after one of the peaks from the National Park Hohe nature reserve Tauern: in this case, the Groβe Geiger. Here, you can have a wonderful holiday with six people. The living area is on the top floor, which has an impressive high ceiling and gives you a magnificent view of the beautiful Pinzgauer valley and the mountain peaks surrounding it. Relax in the comfortable sitting area or unwind with an evening meal around the spacious dining table. Mouth-watering meals can be prepared in the modern kitchen. The relaxation room with Finnish sauna and shower is also on this floor. There are three bedrooms with double beds, with one bedroom enjoying an en-suite bathroom with a bath. You can bathe in luxury in this chalet. There's also designated parking for two vehicles, along with a charging port for electric vehicles.

In winter, you can enrol for winter sports lessons and take advantage of the convenient ski rental facilities at the reception of the chalet park. You're also in a prime location for a descent within the ski region of Wildkogel Arena. The ski bus departs from a stop at the bottom of the piste, while a ski lift takes you to the village centre of Neukirchen, as well as the surrounding ski areas of Zillertal Arena and Kitzbüheler Alpen. Back at the chalet, you can unwind and relax near the fireplace as you plan for another day of action-packed adventure.

In summer, you can start the day with a delicious breakfast on the balcony overlooking the Austrian countryside and then go out and explore! The stay includes the Nationalpark Sommercard, which gives you big discounts and allows you to undertake various free activities, such as visits to the Krimmler waterfalls, a game of mini-golf or a visit to the surrounding villages on the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn train. Alternatively, you can simply relax with a good book as you enjoy an afternoon on the terrace.
