Nationalpark Chalet Hoher Rosshuf

Description

This detached chalet is part of the Nationalpark chalets in Neukirchen am Grossvenediger. You will not lack luxury and comfort in this six-person holiday home. The cosy living room has a comfortable seating area, a large dining table where you can dine with your family or friends, and a fully equipped kitchen. The three spacious bedrooms with double beds all have their own bathrooms. You also have access to your own Finnish sauna with relaxation room and bathroom. Here, you can relax after a strenuous day in the mountains. The chalet has several balconies and a terrace from where you have a fantastic view of the mountains and the valley.

In winter, you’re within easy walking distance of the valley run of the Wildkogel Arena ski area. The ski bus at the bottom of the descent brings you to the ski gondola in the village, which takes you to the middle of the ski area in no time at all. The Wildkogel Arena is a family-friendly ski area with mainly blue and red runs. For people who are looking for a bit more of a challenge, the ski lift in Hollersbach can be reached within 15 minutes by car or ski bus. The gondola in Hollersbach takes you into the vast ski area of the Kitzbüheler Alpen, with many kilometres of piste. After a long day in the snow, there’s nothing better than relaxing in the chalet. The stove in the living room gives an extra cosy atmosphere on colder days or evenings.

In summer, you are beautifully located in an area with a variety of hiking and cycling trails. The Krimmler waterfalls, in particular, are a must-see during your stay – what a spectacular sight! At this chalet, you’ll also receive the Nationalpark Sommercard, with which you can enjoy various free activities and excellent discounts. For example, rent a bicycle or e-bike and follow a section of the Hohe Tauernradweg, which takes you through quaint mountain villages and along the Salzach River to Mittersill. When you’re ready to set off again, you can return to Neukirchen with the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn. Even if you want to take it easy, the Nationalpark Chalets Hoher Rosshuf makes for a wonderful stay! Read a good book on the terrace/balcony or enjoy a snack and drink in the lounge of the main building while the children play at the natural lake.
