In winter, you are guaranteed an ideal winter sports holiday in Chalet Käferfeldeck. The Valley Run of the Wildkogel Arena runs alongside the Nationalpark Chalets. At the end of the descent, board the ski bus that provides the connection to the central gondola in the village, taking you to more than 2200 metres of the family ski area of the Wildkogel Arena. Plenty of entertainment and something for everyone. For more difficult ski challenges, you can go to the nearby ski area of Passturn / Kitzbühel or the vast ski area of Zillertal Arena with connection to Hochkrimml, Königsleiten and Gerlos. After an active day, spend a relaxed, cozy winter evening together while talking over your winter sports adventures.
In the summer, there is plenty of holiday fun to be had in and around the chalet. The children can play in the playground and swim in the beautiful natural lake by the reception of the Nationalpark Chalets. You can watch them while enjoying a drink on the large terrace of the central reception and viewing the magnificent panorama of the surrounding mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The "Nationalpark Sommercard" is included during the summer months; this gives you numerous free activities such as a ride on the gondola, mini golf or the slow train that runs from Zell am See to Hochkrimml. A visit to the Krimmler waterfalls, Europe's highest waterfalls is highly recommended.
