You can park your car under the carport, where there is ample room for two vehicles, and upon entering this beautiful chalet, you will find a relaxation area with Finnish sauna and walk-in shower. The middle floor has a comfortably furnished bedroom with a double bed and a private en-suite bathroom. You can step straight into the garden from this bedroom to inhale the fresh mountain air in the morning. There is also a luxurious bathroom and two bedrooms on this floor, each with a double bed, and access to the sunny balcony with beautiful views of the mountains, so you can start the day feeling fresh and energetic. There is a well-equipped open kitchen on the top floor with all the necessary appliances to prepare a delicious meal. And after a beautiful day in the glorious surroundings, you can settle down on the sofa, light a fire in the fireplace or enjoy each other's company at the fire table on the balcony with beautiful views.
In winter, your stay at Chalet Kratzenberg couldn't be better. As the valley descent runs directly past the chalet and there is a drag lift right outside the door, you really have ski-in and ski-out!
At the bottom of the valley descent, take the ski bus that takes you to the "Wildkogelbahn" gondola in the village. The "Wildkogel Arena" is a family-friendly ski area suitable for young and old alike! There are slopes for every level and fun activities to do such as tobogganing on Europe's longest natural toboggan run, guaranteed fun for ten! Are you ready for something more challenging? The adjacent extensive ski areas "Zillertal Arena" or "Kitzbüheler Alpen" are the designated areas to spend a day. Near the chalet, you can also take beautiful winter walks. And after a lovely day out in the countryside, you can warm up your muscles in the Finnish sauna in your own chalet or simply relax on the inviting couch in front of the fireplace, what bliss!
In summer, start the day well with a breakfast of fresh rolls from the bakery, on the balcony with a view over the majestic mountain peaks of the Hohe Taurnpark. All ages will experience a fantastic holiday in National Park Chalets. Escape from the daily hustle and bustle and relax in and around the comfortable chalet or take a seat on the terrace in the reception lounge and enjoy a snack and a drink while the children have hours of fun in the swimming pond with playground. Fancy a day out in the area? There are countless activities for young and old; you certainly won't get bored! The National Park Sommercard is included in the booking, which can be used for more than sixty fun activities, free or at a discount, in the beautiful surroundings. Super handy! Hire a bicycle or climb Europe's highest waterfalls, the Krimmler waterfalls. A tip from us: Go up with the "Wildkogelbahn" gondola, enjoy the beautiful view and walk down. Along the way, you will come across fifteen slides… guaranteed fun for ten!
