Nationalpark Chalet Mittereggspitze

Description

At Chalet Mittereggspitze, luxury and comfort are of paramount importance! When you walk through the beautiful chalet with a spacious wellness area with sunbeds, you will understand what we mean ... a stay in this chalet is pure luxury and indulgence!
This beautiful holiday home is part of the National Park Chalets in the picturesque village of Neukirchen am Großvenediger and is equipped for eight people with a total of four very comfortable bedrooms, each with a double bed and a private bathroom en-suite. There is a large terrace, and a balcony around the sleeping floor, so you have sun almost all day long. The living floor consists of a spacious kitchen with a large dining table where you can enjoy delicious meals and cosy game evenings. And plenty of opportunities to relax after an active day: settle down on the comfortable sofa by the fireplace or enjoy a vast sauna hall in the large wellness area with Finnish sauna and cool off afterwards on the terrace outside with a view of the mountains, a perfect end to the day!

In winter you can enjoy the breathtaking view and wake up relaxed from Chalet Mittereggspitze. This chalet is the perfect base for a complete winter sports holiday! For ski rental/lessons, you can go to the National Park Chalets' main building, and the valley run of the Wildkogel Arena ski area is within walking distance. The ski bus at the bottom of the descent takes you to the ski gondola in the village, which takes you in a few minutes to the middle of the Wildkogel Arena ski area, known as a family-friendly ski area with mainly blue and red slopes. For a little more challenge, the ski areas Zillertal Arena and Kitzbüheler Alpen are easily accessible by ski buses or cars.
And after a wonderful day in the winter landscape, store your winter sports equipment in your own ski storage room with a ski boot dryer and warm your muscles in the large wellness area with Finnish sauna and sunbeds.

In the summer you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with fresh bread rolls from the in-house bakery in the park, on one of the balconies with a great view of the beautiful mountain peaks, including the Groβvenediger, the highest peak in the Hohe Tauern area. After breakfast, you can choose to go out or spend a lovely day relaxing by the swimming pool in the park. The National Park Chalets are located at the foot of the Hohe Tauern nature reserve, where you can follow a legion of walking and cycling routes. Or climb up along the Krimml waterfalls, definitely worth it! Take the children up with the Wilkogelbahn and follow the walking trail down where you will encounter 15 slides along the way, fun guaranteed! With the included "National Park Sommercard" you can participate in many of these activities in the area for free or with a high discount.
