Description
Wake up with a view of the Großvenediger, enjoy the beautiful mountains of the Hohe Tauern during the day and end the evening in the private sauna or in the covered lounge area with gas fireplace and patio heating when the last rays of the sun make the mountain peaks glow. The National Park Chalet Schwarze Wand in Neukirchen am Großvenediger offers all this. The fireplace in the living room, which is open on 3 sides and covered with Rauris natural stone, is the centerpiece of the modernly furnished chalet. Wooden elements, natural colors and skins create a homely atmosphere. The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows of the Chalets Schwarze Wand National Park offer sensational views of the mountain panorama of the Hohe Tauern from morning to night. The spacious, tastefully decorated and open living/dining room has a modern kitchen with every comfort, a very large dining table and a comfortable sitting area. For those who prefer to eat outside, the chalet offers comfortable seating on the south-facing terrace. Here you can let the sun shine on your face with your morning coffee or enjoy freshly grilled dishes from the original Weber gas grill in the evening. A sauna with adjoining relaxation room invites you to relax after a wonderful day of hiking or skiing in the Wildkogel Arena or in the Hohe Tauern National Park. The National Park Chalet Schwarze Wand can accommodate up to 6 people with its three bedrooms and three bathrooms (one en-suite). All three bedrooms have a double bed. The carport on the ground floor offers space for two cars and there is also a charging point for electric cars.
In winter, the ski slope is close by, as the valley descent of the family-friendly ski area, Wildkogel Arena, runs past the reception area of the Nationalpark Chalets. Here also, the ski bus will take you to the ski lift of the Wildkogel Arena, five minutes from the centre of Neukirchen. The ski areas of the Zillertal Arena and the Kitzbüheler Alpen can also easily be reached by ski bus. At the end of the day, store your skis in the storage room and dry your boots with the ski boot dryer.
In summer, take in the beautiful view while the children play at the natural lake in front of the reception of the Nationalpark Chalets, or stay on the partly-covered terrace with a patio heater while enjoying a snack and a drink until late at night. When staying in Chalet Schwarze Wand, guests can take advantage of the included 'Nationalpark Sommercard’, which offers various discounts and provides access to free activities in the area. There is plenty to do for both young and old!
