Description

The living room boasts a comfortable seating area with a fireplace, providing you the perfect spot to retreat to after a busy day enjoying the great outdoors. There’s also a designated dining area so you can enjoy meals together, while a fully equipped kitchen ensures you can enjoy the perks of self-catering for the duration of your stay. There are three bedrooms with double beds and an en suite bathrooms, as well as one bedroom with a double bed, bunk bed and en suite bathroom with an infrared sauna. The latter is an ideal choice for families with children. This chalet is part of the National Park Chalets complex, a charming holiday home village that offers you the perks of a private chalet, with the service of a hotel. For example, you can book a breakfast service so you can save time in the mornings.
In winter, all sporting facilities you could wish for are within close reach. The downhill run passes directly by the chalet village, while the ski bus is waiting at the bottom to take you to the Wildkogelbahn ski lift. This ski lift brings you to the family-friendly ski resort of the Wildkogel Arena. Here you can take to the slopes if you’re familiar with skiing, or opt for lessons at the chalet village if you want to learn the ropes or polish up on your skills if you’re a little rusty with your technique. Looking for more skiing adventures? Jump on the ski bus or hop in your own vehicle and head to the vast ski area of Zillertal Arena. Once you’re done for the day, retreat back your chalet accommodation, change out of your ski gear and sore it away in the designated storage facilities provided, then enjoy a relaxing sauna session before snuggling up in front of the crackling fireplace.
In summer, there’s bags of holiday fun to be had in this charming corner of Austria. Start the day off on the terrace with an al fresco breakfast as you savour the view, or cap off the evening with a drink or two. The patio heater ensures you’ll never need to worry about the chill-chasing you inside. Children can look forward to a splash about in the natural lake or burn off some steam in the playground. Meanwhile, you and your fellow grown-ups can enjoy a bite to eat and a drink in the chalet complex restaurant. The area around the National Park Chalets village is worth exploring, with stunning landmarks like the Krimmler Waterfalls just one of many must-see attractions. You can also grab an electric bike rental and head out along one of the many mapped cycle routes for a first-rate way to savour the scenery.
