This inviting apartment is part of the larger Residenz Wildkogel chalet complex. It is located in the Austrian village of Neukirchen am Groβvenediger and can accommodate up to six people. In the living room, you'll find a comfortable sitting area. There's also a generously sized dining table, where you can enjoy meals that were cooked in the fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms, including one room with a double bed and another with a double bed, bunk bed, and a private bathroom. From the living room, you can access the balcony, which boasts impressive mountain views. You can also see the ski lift that can transport you to majestic heights. After an active day outdoors, there's nothing better than enjoying the luxuries of the shared wellness centre. At this chalet complex, you can choose from a Finnish sauna, herbal sauna, heat bank, as well as rain showers.
In winter, you'll only be a short stroll from Wildkogel Arena ski area. There, you can fully enjoy beautiful, wide slopes that are suitable for both beginners and advanced. Alternatively, brave a ride on the 14-kilometre-long toboggan run. It begins at an altitude of approximately 2,300 metres and has a total ride duration of 45 minutes. End the day on a high note at a local restaurant or one of several après-ski huts located in Neukirchen's village centre. After you're done for the day, you can use the secure storage area to hang and dry your gear.
In summer, Neukirchen am Grossvenediger is a good base for various summer activities, including hiking, mountain biking, and more. You can embark upon all manner of adventures, and there are guided excursions available if you're looking to discover the very best that Hohe Tauern National Park can offer. You can also take a dip in one of several lakes, or grab a bike and cycle along one of the many marked cycling trails. For even more enjoyment, jump in the car and head to the Krimmler waterfalls nearby, or take the ski lift to the higher region and let the kids play in the adventure playground while you relax.
