In the spacious Chalet Filzsteinfreude, located in Hochkrimml, you can enjoy a holiday with up to 14 people. In the living room, you can relax in the spacious and airy seating area. The large dining table is ideal for cosy meals and lively game nights. The kitchen is fully equipped; everything is on hand so you can easily prepare a tasty meal. From the extra-large balcony and the terrace, you can enjoy the beautiful mountain setting. The sleeping accommodations of the detached holiday home are divided into five bedrooms, two of which have a private bathroom with two single beds. There is also a bedroom with a double bed, and two family bedrooms with a double bed and bunk beds. In addition, the chalet has three bathrooms, including one equipped with an infrared sauna!. In short, everyone has privacy! There is also plenty of parking spaces at Chalet Filzsteinfreude.
In the winter, you just have to cross the street and you are already at the tow lift! Or walk a little further to reach the chairlift. Whether you have been skiing for years or are looking forward to skiing for the first time, the Zillertal Arena ski area has many kilometres of slopes for every level. The Funpark is also opposite the apartment, you can't beat it during your winter sports holiday. Ride into the late hours of the Filzsteinalm toboggan run, which is illuminated every evening until 9.30 pm. You can also stay close to home as the house is in the sun all day long. It's lovely to après-ski on your own balcony while the children play in the garden. The winter sports equipment can be stored in the ski storage room of Chalet Filzsteinfreude.
In the summer, start or end the day on the extra-wide balcony with a view of the surrounding natural beauty; this is the good life! Visit the Durlaßboden Reservoir where you can practice various water sports such as paddle-boarding, canoeing and sailing. The holiday home is a perfect starting point for beautiful hiking or cycling tours high up in the mountains. One of the famous cycle routes, the Hohe Tauernradweg, starts in Krimml. Follow part of the long route through beautiful landscapes, picturesque mountain villages and along the side of the lake. Get in the car and descend the Gerlospas with various viewpoints over Europe's highest phased waterfall! Continue until you reach the foot of the Krimmler waterfall and visit the WasserWunderWelt theme park.A condition set by the homeowner is that no pets are allowed in the home.Due to construction activities in the area, there is a chance of inconvenience during the summer months of 2024.

Ski School Krimml
The ski school of Hochkrimml is located in the community of "Filtzstein".
Both the beginner with only 1 to 2 weeks ski experience or the more advanced skier wanting to learn that art of deep snow skiing, slalom skiing or carving are accompanied by excellent Ski School Krimml ski & snowboard instructors. The ski school offers a wide range of courses varying from group and private lessons for skiers and snowboarders to touring and deep snow skiing courses, cross-country courses and race courses for skiers.
Kids
At Ski School Krimml also the youngest amongst us can learn skiing in a playful manner. The lessons are given in varies degrees of difficulty. The new Kids-Funpark compleets the play experience.

Skischule Krimml
Ausgezeichnet ausgebildete Ski- und Snowboardlehrer der Skischule Krimml begleiten sowohl Anfänger mit nur 1 oder 2 Wochen Erfahrung bis fortgeschrittene Skifahrer, welche die Kunst des Tiefschneeskifahrens, Carvings oder des Slaloms erlernen möchten. Das Kursangebot variiert von Gruppen- und Privatstunden für Skifahrer und Snowboarder über Tour- und Tiefschnee Skikurse bis hin zu Langlaufkursen und Kursen für Wettkampffahrer.

Zowel beginners met slechts 1 tot 2 weken ski ervaring tot de gevorderde skiër die de kunst van het diepsneeuw skiën, carven of slalom skiën onder de knie wil krijgen worden bij Skischool Krimml begeleid door excellent ski- & snowboard instructeurs.
