Chalet Wintersonne

Village: Hochkrimml
Ski resort: Zillertal Arena

Description

A spacious detached chalet for up to ten people in Hochkrimml, a cosy and beautifully situated holiday village belonging to the lower Krimml. The chalet's interior is well-appointed, and neutral colours and wood have been used. The living room of the chalet offers ample space to eat and relax with the whole group after an active holiday. The living room also has a loft with an extra seating area that you reach via a beautiful wooden staircase. Adjacent to the dining area is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. One of the double beds is located in the loft, which is connected to the living room. In addition, there are two bedrooms with a double bed and one accessible family room with a narrow double bed and a bunk bed. In total, the house has two bathrooms, one of which has a bath. You can enter the house via the spacious balcony, which is a real sun trap. There is also a Sauna downstairs on the terrace. Cars can be parked in the accompanying parking garage, and there is a large storage room for, for example, wet ski equipment or mountain bikes.

In winter, you can get on your skis directly from Chalet Wintersonne. Chalet Wintersonne is an authentic ski-in/ski-out chalet near the Filzstein chair lift with direct access to the Zillertal Arena. This ski area has 150 kilometres of well-prepared slopes and has an almost 100% snow guarantee. Hochkrimml itself is a really family-friendly and quiet village with a nice toboggan run and a good ski school. You can take beautiful winter walks from the village, for example, to the famous Krimmler waterfalls, which are also worth a visit in winter. To go out for dinner or look for après-ski, visit the nearby towns of Königsleiten or Gerlos. Then, back at the chalet, you settle down on the couch where you can enjoy the serenity.

In the summer, Hochkrimml is a hiking and cycling mecca; from the chalet, you can follow various routes ranging from a few kilometres to even multi-day trips. Hikers will get their money's worth in the beautiful Krimmler Achental, a high valley that forms part of the Hohe Tauern. You can paddle on the shores of the Durlaβboden reservoir in twenty minutes by car. You can participate in various water sports on this lake, but you can also take a well-filled picnic basket and spend an afternoon swimming and sunbathing. Back in the chalet, you can chill on the balcony with a view that is never boring!
