Description
There’s plenty to enjoy in Chalet Zillertal Arena XL! You can stay here with a group of up to 26 people in all the luxury and comfort you could wish for on holiday. The long dining table is in the heart of the house, in the middle of the loft and adjacent to a sitting area and the modern, fully equipped kitchen with two dishwashers, two ovens and two refrigerators. In the loft, you can on one side relax in an additional sitting area with a TV and on the other side, you can read a book on the comfortable sofa or choose a nice game. All bedrooms have private bathrooms with walk-in shower, sink and toilet – you can literally bathe in luxury! In addition, there is a wonderful sauna room with an infrared and Finnish sauna where you can completely relax. There are double beds in five of the bedrooms, and four bedrooms have double beds plus bunk beds. There is also parking space for seven cars at the chalet.
In winter, you’re situated in the middle of the Zillertal Arena ski area. From the chalet, it is just a 10-minute walk to the slopes of the Filzsteinalm. If you don’t feel like carrying your skies and winter gear, you can store all your ski equipment in the ski depot at the bottom of the piste. The ski school and ski rental are also located here. The Zillertal Arena is a very snow-heavy ski area, where you can enjoy the fresh snow from December to mid-April. There are plenty of blue runs for beginners, while advanced skiers can indulge themselves on the many red and black runs, and take long day trips. In the evening, stay in the luxury chalet and enjoy a board game at the long dining table with all your friends.
In summer, the high mountains invite you for a versatile holiday. Hochkrimml lies on the border of Salzburgerland and Tyrol, an ideal destination for hikers and cyclists. You can also go canyoning or climbing in the immediate area under the supervision of an experienced guide. If you prefer to travel by car, then a trip on the Großglockner Hochstraβe is definitely worth it. After the many bends, you come to the highest view of Austria, with several restaurants, museums and beautiful hiking trails along the way. If you want to relax, take a day of rest and enjoy the luxury of Chalet Zillertal Arena XL and the grandiose view of the mountain landscape.

A high alpine oasis of spectacular scenery
Hochkrimml sits at an altitude of 1,700 metres above sea level, making it the highest village in the Zillertal Arena. Lying almost directly on the Gerlos Pass on the border between Salzburg and Tyrol in the Zillertal Alps, with the winter sports area consisting of three areas: Filzsteinalm, Duxeralm and Silberleiten and belongs to the municipality of Krimml. You can reach this village by car or bus with ease, with plenty of conventional skiing and cross-country skiing potential thanks to the close proximity of the Gerlosplatte. From Hochkrimml, you can reach the Zillertal Arena directly via a red downhill run to Königsleiten. Enjoy endless hours of high alpine skiing in this pristine part of Austria.
