The three detached chalets Falkensteinalm are suitable for families, groups of friends and team outings. You can rent the houses individually and also linked so that you can even spend the night at this fantastic location with groups of 30 to 42 people! You rarely come across an opportunity like this! With your choice of Chalet Falkensteinalm Friends, you book a combination of Top 1 and Top 2. The homes are robustly furnished, with lots of wood and attention to details and luxury. Located high on the “Duxeralm” in the mountain village of Hochkrimml, you have beautiful views of the mountains from the balconies or the terrace of this chalet, just breathtaking! You enter the ground floor through the private joint entrance, where you enter Top 1 on the left and Top 2 on the right. Both offer a very spacious, fully equipped kitchen, where you can prepare the most delicious meals for your group. The two cosy living kitchens are the pivot of the houses, and here you and your company can tell each other your experiences after an active day in the mountains, read a book or play a board game. There are a total of thirty beds in eleven bedrooms and four luxurious and modern bathrooms. You even have two Wellness rooms with a fantastic “Altholtz” sauna, which you can set to 60 or 90 degrees, for ultimate relaxation. You have access to a balcony from each bedroom, and you can breathe in the fresh mountain air in the morning and enjoy the beautiful view.
In winter, you start your day with a delicious breakfast with fresh rolls. Then it’s time to put on your winter sports gear and step out into the crisp winter mountain air. Falkensteinalm’s location is perfect; you only walk 100m, and you are in front of the drag lift and the chair lift of the Duxeralm, and with enough snow, you can ski down to the front door of the chalet! The Zillertal Arena ski area is a large and snow-sure ski area, where you can make wonderful day trips from December to mid-April to the villages of Königsleiten, Gerlos and in the direction of Zell am Ziller. There are enough blue slopes for the novice skier, and for the experienced skiers, plenty of red and black slopes, so there is something for everyone. Cross-country skiing and hiking from the chalet are also possible. And how about screeching down the mountain with a sledge, which is possible on the illuminated toboggan run on the Filzsteinalm! After a beautiful winter day, you can store your ski boots in the heated ski storage room and warm up yourself in the sauna. Then, head to the après-ski bar with an adjoining restaurant within walking distance of the chalet.
The host of the house is happy to welcome you in his après-ski bar BergGeistAlm (at the top of the Filzsteinbahn "Speedy").
In summer, you can go in all directions from Hochkrimml, and it is absolutely worthwhile to explore the beautiful surroundings. Beautiful walking and cycling routes start directly from Chalet Falkensteinalm, so bring your bicycle/mountain bike and walking shoes! Or rent bicycles at the Duxeralm restaurant. You can also take a nice walk along the Durlaβboden reservoir at an altitude of 1,400 metres, with lovely resting places along the way and magnificent views or take a dip in the lovely cool waters of the lake. If you prefer to relax in a swimming pool, you can go to the Kristall (swimming) bath in the lower village of Wald im Pinzgau, an ideal swimming pool for families with children. Need more challenge? Explore the mountains through Klettern (climbing) or Canyoning accompanied by experienced guides. There is the Gipfelliner and the Arena Skyliner for the real thrill-seekers among us, do you dare? Ski School Krimml
The ski school of Hochkrimml is located in the community of "Filtzstein".
Both the beginner with only 1 to 2 weeks ski experience or the more advanced skier wanting to learn that art of deep snow skiing, slalom skiing or carving are accompanied by excellent Ski School Krimml ski & snowboard instructors. The ski school offers a wide range of courses varying from group and private lessons for skiers and snowboarders to touring and deep snow skiing courses, cross-country courses and race courses for skiers.
Kids
At Ski School Krimml also the youngest amongst us can learn skiing in a playful manner. The lessons are given in varies degrees of difficulty. The new Kids-Funpark compleets the play experience.

Skischule Krimml
Ausgezeichnet ausgebildete Ski- und Snowboardlehrer der Skischule Krimml begleiten sowohl Anfänger mit nur 1 oder 2 Wochen Erfahrung bis fortgeschrittene Skifahrer, welche die Kunst des Tiefschneeskifahrens, Carvings oder des Slaloms erlernen möchten. Das Kursangebot variiert von Gruppen- und Privatstunden für Skifahrer und Snowboarder über Tour- und Tiefschnee Skikurse bis hin zu Langlaufkursen und Kursen für Wettkampffahrer.
