In winter, Traumeckerl is also an ideal destination for a holiday. Thanks to the apartment's location at an altitude of 1700 meters, you are always guaranteed snow-covered slopes. Just 150 meters away from the accommodation, there is already a slope in Silberleiten! You can easily walk to the slope and take on the challenges of the Zillertal Arena from there. In this area, you'll find a total of 146 km of slopes, including 46 km of blue, 89 km of red, and 11 km of black slopes. For cross-country skiing and tobogganing enthusiasts, the Zillertal Arena is also a paradise, with a 200 km cross-country trail and a 7 km toboggan run. It's ideal for all winter sports enthusiasts. After an active day outdoors, return to your accommodation. Once there, you can, for example, experience après-ski in one of the nearby bars to complete your perfect holiday day, or simply relax in your own accommodation.
In the summer, the surroundings of Traumeckerl transform from a winter wonderland into a green oasis. The view is truly breathtaking even in this season, as the property is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Thanks to this location, the area is ideal for hikers and cyclists who want to enjoy nature. One of the most beautiful hiking routes nearby is the Hochkrimmler Panoramaweg. This route takes you along various stunning sights, including the impressive Krimml Waterfalls. If you feel the need for a refreshing swim after a hike, it is advisable to visit the Durlaßboden reservoir just 15 km from Hochkrimml. This relatively warm lake is the perfect place for family water fun, where you can swim, surf, paddle, and pedal boat. Ski School Krimml
The ski school of Hochkrimml is located in the community of "Filtzstein".
Both the beginner with only 1 to 2 weeks ski experience or the more advanced skier wanting to learn that art of deep snow skiing, slalom skiing or carving are accompanied by excellent Ski School Krimml ski & snowboard instructors. The ski school offers a wide range of courses varying from group and private lessons for skiers and snowboarders to touring and deep snow skiing courses, cross-country courses and race courses for skiers.
Kids
At Ski School Krimml also the youngest amongst us can learn skiing in a playful manner. The lessons are given in varies degrees of difficulty. The new Kids-Funpark compleets the play experience.

Skischule Krimml
Ausgezeichnet ausgebildete Ski- und Snowboardlehrer der Skischule Krimml begleiten sowohl Anfänger mit nur 1 oder 2 Wochen Erfahrung bis fortgeschrittene Skifahrer, welche die Kunst des Tiefschneeskifahrens, Carvings oder des Slaloms erlernen möchten. Das Kursangebot variiert von Gruppen- und Privatstunden für Skifahrer und Snowboarder über Tour- und Tiefschnee Skikurse bis hin zu Langlaufkursen und Kursen für Wettkampffahrer.
