Haus Everest, located on the enchanting Filzsteinalm, is the ideal destination for your vacation! This splendid chalet for nine people (max. 8 adults), with an area of more than 160 m2, offers a warm interior featuring plenty of wood and natural stone. The robust styling maintains the authentic charm that is characteristic of Austria. The spacious living room is cozily furnished with a traditional dining area, comfortable sofa, and TV. The fireplace completes the whole, but for safety reasons, it cannot be used. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to prepare delicious meals for your travel companions. Enjoy the sun during breakfast in the garden or relax with a drink on the very spacious terrace, directly accessible from the living room. From this terrace, you have a breathtaking view of the Hohe Tauern National Park, a truly postcard-worthy panorama. The large master bedroom on the upper floor, with its own balcony, a luxurious double bed, and a beautiful wooden beam ceiling, is a delightful place to retreat in the evening. On this floor, you'll also find a cozy alcove bed, perfect for one of the children, and the modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower and a bathtub, ideal for relaxing after an active day outdoors! One floor down, you'll discover the other three bedrooms, each with a double bed, and one of them with access to a private bathroom. There is also an additional bathroom with a walk-in shower on this floor.
In winter, the location of Haus Everest is perfect, within walking distance of the ski area of Hochkrimml: Filzsteinalm, and through the Filzstein ski lifts, you can easily reach the larger Zillertal Arena ski area. Here, you'll find 52 modern ski lifts and 147 km of slopes, suitable for winter sports enthusiasts of all levels. In this area, you can not only ski but also sled down the seven-kilometer-long Haizenberg toboggan run or enjoy the freshly groomed and snow-sure cross-country ski trail of over 200 km. There is a sports shop and ski schools, and those looking for food or drinks after a long day of skiing can visit nearby restaurants or après-ski bars. Alternatively, you can return home; thanks to the ideal balance between comfort and coziness, Haus Everest invites you to spend the evening together in the chalet itself. So, plenty of choices!
In summer, start your day with breakfast on the large terrace with a stunning view of the mountains. Then, be surprised by the beautiful surroundings of the chalet, where every hiking or biking tour is a discovery! The panoramic views you encounter along the way will make your heart beat faster. The region also invites you to mountain bike, climb, and go canyoning. Be sure not to miss the spectacular Krimmler Waterfalls, as they are truly impressive. For water lovers, a visit to the Durlaßboden reservoir is a must, where you can swim, paddle, and pedal boat. Just a half-hour drive from Krimml, you'll find a beautiful 18-hole golf course in Mittersill. Here, you can play golf with unique views of the mountains. Ski School Krimml
The ski school of Hochkrimml is located in the community of "Filtzstein".
Both the beginner with only 1 to 2 weeks ski experience or the more advanced skier wanting to learn that art of deep snow skiing, slalom skiing or carving are accompanied by excellent Ski School Krimml ski & snowboard instructors. The ski school offers a wide range of courses varying from group and private lessons for skiers and snowboarders to touring and deep snow skiing courses, cross-country courses and race courses for skiers.
Kids
At Ski School Krimml also the youngest amongst us can learn skiing in a playful manner. The lessons are given in varies degrees of difficulty. The new Kids-Funpark compleets the play experience.

Skischule Krimml
Ausgezeichnet ausgebildete Ski- und Snowboardlehrer der Skischule Krimml begleiten sowohl Anfänger mit nur 1 oder 2 Wochen Erfahrung bis fortgeschrittene Skifahrer, welche die Kunst des Tiefschneeskifahrens, Carvings oder des Slaloms erlernen möchten. Das Kursangebot variiert von Gruppen- und Privatstunden für Skifahrer und Snowboarder über Tour- und Tiefschnee Skikurse bis hin zu Langlaufkursen und Kursen für Wettkampffahrer.

Zowel beginners met slechts 1 tot 2 weken ski ervaring tot de gevorderde skiër die de kunst van het diepsneeuw skiën, carven of slalom skiën onder de knie wil krijgen worden bij Skischool Krimml begeleid door excellent ski- & snowboard instructeurs. Het cursus aanbod varieert van groep en privélessen voor skiërs en snowboarders tot toer- en diepsneeuw ski cursussen, langlauf cursussen en cursussen voor wedstrijdskiërs
