The holiday home features a modern living room and a separate bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed that accommodates three people (240 cm sleeping space). The open and stylishly furnished living area seamlessly connects to a fully equipped kitchen, allowing you to fully enjoy shared moments while cooking and dining. Enjoy your meals at the large dining table. This holiday home offers a spacious south-facing terrace and a generous balcony, from which you can admire the picturesque mountain scenery in all its beauty. Let the fresh Alpine air wash over you and enjoy the peace of nature. After an eventful day, Steinadler offers plenty of ways to unwind – whether it’s with a glass of wine on the private balcony, playing a game in the living room, or simply watching the twinkling stars in the night sky.
In winter, Steinadler is ideally located to make the most of your ski holiday. You can ski directly to the front door. Thanks to its snow-sure location and proximity to the ski lift (just 120 meters away), it is the perfect starting point for winter adventures. You are in the heart of the Zillertal Arena, one of the largest and most versatile ski areas in the region. The slopes are perfect for both beginners and advanced skiers. Spend a whole day on the many blue runs of the Gerlosplatte, or ski via Königsleiten into the large ski area with many red and black runs.
Near the holiday home, you’ll find beautiful off-piste slopes and opportunities for ski touring, especially suitable for beginners. Along the way, you’ll find many ski huts inviting you for lunch or après-ski. The cozy Plattenalm restaurant is just 180 meters away and easily accessible on foot. The snow-sure six-kilometer cross-country ski trail for both skating and classic skiing begins just 200 meters from the front door. In the evening, the illuminated toboggan run at the Filzsteinalm (2 kilometers away) offers a fun end to the day. A ski storage room is also available.
In summer, Steinadler is a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Active vacationers can embark on beautiful mountain hikes directly from the holiday home or explore the area by bicycle or mountain bike. Along the way, you can rest among the cows grazing on the lush alpine meadows. Water sports enthusiasts will find the Durlaßboden reservoir just five minutes away, where you can surf, sail, swim, fish, and paddle boat. For relaxation, you can enjoy the wellness facilities at the Kristallbad in Wald im Pinzgau. The absolute highlight of the region is the Krimml Waterfalls, Europe’s second-highest waterfalls, standing at an impressive 380 meters! Beautiful hiking trails run alongside the falls, making this a paradise for hiking enthusiasts.
Just like in winter, Steinadler offers the perfect place to unwind in summer after an active day, whether on the balcony or on the terrace, which enjoys sunlight late into the day.
If you’re traveling with a larger group, in summer you have the option to connect the holiday home with the adjacent holiday home "Steinbock Silberleiten" (booked separately). Together, the ensemble can accommodate up to ten people – ideal for a holiday with friends or the whole family.
