Steinbock also has a private balcony with spectacular views of the surrounding mountain landscape – perfect for enjoying the fresh Alpine air and unwinding. After an active day outdoors, the private balcony or terrace invites you to relax and wind down the day.

In winter, Steinbock is the ideal starting point. You can ski directly to your front door. The Holiday Home is situated in a snow-sure and quiet location, just 100 meters from the ski lift. You are in the heart of the Zillertal Arena, the largest ski area in the Zillertal. With its many kilometers of slopes, this area is perfect for both beginners and advanced skiers. Spend a whole day on the many blue slopes of the Gerlosplatte or ski via Königsleiten into the large ski area with many red and black runs. Near the Holiday Home, you’ll find fantastic off-piste areas and ski touring opportunities, especially for beginners. Along the way, you will encounter many ski huts that invite you for lunch or après-ski. The cozy restaurant Plattenalm is just 180 meters away and is easily accessible on foot. The snow-sure cross-country ski trail, stretching six kilometers for both skating and classic skiing, starts just 200 meters from the front door. In the evening, the illuminated toboggan run at the Filzsteinalm (2 kilometers away) offers a fun outing. A ski storage room is available.

In summer, Steinbock is a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Active vacationers can embark on beautiful mountain hikes directly from the Holiday Home or explore the area by bicycle or mountain bike. Along the way, you can rest among the cows grazing on the lush alpine meadows. Water sports enthusiasts will find the Durlaßboden reservoir just five minutes away, where you can surf, sail, swim, fish, and paddle boat. For relaxation, you can enjoy the wellness facilities at the Kristallbad in Wald im Pinzgau. The absolute highlight of the region is the Krimml Waterfalls, Europe’s second-highest waterfalls, standing at an impressive 380 meters! Beautiful trails lead along the falls, making this a dream for hiking enthusiasts.
Just like in winter, Steinbock offers the perfect place to unwind in summer after an active day, whether on the balcony or the terrace, which enjoys sunlight late into the day.

If you're with a larger group, the Holiday Home can be conveniently combined with the adjacent "Steinadler Silberleiten" (booked separately), subject to availability. Together, the two Holiday Homes can accommodate up to ten people – ideal for larger families or groups seeking both social moments and private spaces.
