Hochkrimml is the perfect starting point for various activities in the snow-heavy ski area of the Zillertal Arena. There are many blue, red, and black ski runs, so there is something for everyone. Besides skiing or snowboarding, there are plenty of other winter activities to do, such as riding the illuminated toboggan run, taking a winter walk, or visiting the Krimmler waterfalls. Before getting a wonderful night's sleep in the comfortable chalet, be sure to enjoy a nice Austrian meal at the restaurant nearby.

In summer, this hospitable village is a wonderful destination for holidaymakers seeking action or relaxation. Take a nice mountain hike, or rent an electric bicycle and ride part of the Tauernradweg trail. The road starts in Krimml and takes you through picturesque mountain villages along the river Salzach. If you don’t feel like cycling all the way back, you can always go back to Krimml with your bike by hopping on the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn. Water fun is guaranteed at the Durlaβboden reservoir, where you can take a refreshing dip and children can play in the playground next to the lake.
Due to construction activities at the DuxerAlm elevator, there is a chance of inconvenience during the summer months of 2024. Because of this inconvenience we are giving a 10% discount on the normal rent.
