Village: Königsleiten
Ski resort: Zillertal Arena

Description

This charming holiday let is a perfect place to stay during your visit to this enchanting part of Austria. Centrally located in the charming village of Königsleiten, and at an altitude of approximately 1600 meters, it's ideal for those seeking spectacular scenery and close proximity to first-rate skiing. Facilities, such as a supermarket, sports shops, restaurants, and an ATM, are all within walking distance of the suite. You enter the apartment in the hall and walk through the modern kitchen into the living room. The living room has a cosy, typical Austrian-style dining area, a comfortable sitting area, and access to a south-facing balcony. There is also a bedroom with a double bed, as well as a modern bathroom with a large shower and sink on the living room floor. Take the staircase up to reach the bedroom floor, where you'll find another bedroom with a double bed, and one more bedroom with two bunk beds. There is also a bathroom with a Finnish sauna, which is lovely for relaxing your muscles in after you've been pulled out for a day.

In winter, you can step directly from this property onto the practice meadow with the ski lift. The ski bus stops almost in front of the apartment, so in no time, you can be at the ski gondola. The gondola will take you high into the ski area of the Zillertal Arena, which can easily provide hours of winter sports fun for both novice and experienced skiers. Ski schools and a ski rental are also within walking distance of the apartment. However, there is still much more to do than just skiing or snowboarding! Take a ride from the toboggan run, go snowshoeing, or make an unforgettable sleigh ride to the Krimmler waterfalls. End the day with a delicious Austrian meal at one of the many local restaurants. Once you're all tired out from an action-packed day, there's no better place to retire, relax, and recharge, than back home inside this apartment.

In summer, you'll love soaking up the scenery from the balcony of this apartment, especially as the day breaks. Once you've welcomed in the day, it's time to get out and explore. This region has plenty in the way of hiking trails and bike paths to adventure along. In addition, the Dorfbahn cable car can easily transport you to the mountainous peaks nearby, so you can savour some truly spectacular views and explore lovely Alpine meadows. Children can find plenty to enjoy here as well, such as climbing activities at Sparrebos castle, and not to mention the swimming sessions at the Durlaβboden reservoir.
