On the balcony you overlook the practice slope where the little ones get their first ski lessons. In the midst of the vast Zillertal Arena ski area, every winter sports enthusiast can have fun for hours. Take beautiful day trips, practice your techniques on the practice meadow, or enjoy the Austrian delicacies in a mountain hut. Après-ski should not be missed either. If you fancy a change from the regular winter sports, you can also go on a winter hike, there are several (also educational!) routes mapped out such as the Planets Route. This is so-named because Europe's highest observatory can be found in Königsleiten! A visit to this planetarium is highly recommended.

Königsleiten is the ideal holiday destination for young and old. For active holidaymakers, there are various options such as parasailing, mountain climbing or canyoning. True adrenaline junkies can take a ride on the Alpine Coaster, the summer toboggan run! The Durlaßboden reservoir is a must for a day of water fun! Sail, swim, canoe or simply dive into a good book by the waterfront - there is no shortage of options. However, the area is also ideal for quiet walks through the Alpine pastures, beautiful bike rides and pure relaxation.
