am Fuschterhof 1

Village: Königsleiten
Ski resort: Zillertal Arena

Description

This spacious five-room apartment is part of a detached farmhouse chalet in Königsleiten. The original wood from an old farmhouse that once stood in the valley for 300 years was used to construct both the interior and exterior of Am Fuschterhof. You can immediately feel a sense of authentic Austrian atmosphere after entering the apartment's large hall—a piece of history combined with the comforts of this time. There is room for up to 12 people in this holiday home. There is a large kitchen with a generous dining area, and you can relax in a comfortable sitting area. There are several classic Austrian elements to be found, including an authentic stove ore. The apartment has a total of four bedrooms, each with a double bed. Two of the bedrooms also include a bunk bed apiece. In addition, Am Fuschterhof has a communal sauna plus infrared cabin, which you can use to relax in after an active day in the mountains.

In winter, you can roll right out of the apartment and jump into your skis every morning. There's one ski school located right at the holiday home and another on the central practice slope. The Dorfbahn gondola in Königsleiten can quickly take you up to the higher areas, from where you can connect to the slopes of Gerlos, Hochkrimml, and even all the way to Zell am Ziller. At the end of the day, you can ski or snowboard back to the apartment. Once your items are stored in the shared ski storage, it's time to relax. Light up the stove and challenge your party to a game. If you want, relax your muscles in the communal sauna so that you can be fit for the next day.

In summer, there is a lot to do in Königsleiten and the surrounding area. The beautiful, natural landscape is perfect for taking a leisurely walk or a challenging mountain bike tour. The ‘Jodelwanderweg’ is a great activity for families with children. Along the way, you’ll also come across several yodellers, which you can also yodel after! For a day of water fun, visit the Durlaβboden reservoir, where you can swim, stand-up paddle, row, and surf. If you end the day with a nice barbecue by the lake, your summer can’t go wrong.
