In the quaint mountain village of Königsleiten, lies the Auf der Hoss apartment complex, which is what this attractive holiday let is part of. In the living room, you can relax in the sitting area. After you've cooked up something delicious in the fully equipped kitchen, the intimate dining space is perfect for social gatherings and mealtimes. The bathroom is particularly impressive and includes a rain shower, sink, and a toilet. There are two bedrooms on offer: one has a double bed, and the other has a single bunk bed. From the living room, you can access the balcony and enjoy a magnificent view of mountainous surroundings. There is ample parking at the apartment complex, and there are many facilities within walking distance, such as a supermarket, restaurants, sports shops, and ATM machines.

In winter, you can enjoy many kilometres of ski slopes in the vast area the Zillertal Arena. Within walking distance there are two gondolas that take you into the middle of the ski area: The Dorfbahn ski gondola takes you to 2200 meters in no time and the Sonnwendkopf ski gondola, which you reach via the Märchenwald slope, takes you to 2000 meters altitude. In addition, the bus that takes you to the Gerlosplatte stops within walking distance. Located next to this stop, the altitude trail for cross-country skiers begins. Alternatively, those after something other than skiing, can take a turn on the toboggan run, set off on a snowshoe walk, or visit the Krimmler waterfalls aboard a sleigh. Furthermore, this winter sports village has many restaurants and après-ski, so you can cap off busy days with good friends and good company.

In summer, the surroundings of Königsleiten make for a wonderful holiday destination, as they offer something for everyone. There are several hiking and biking trails plotted around, so you can go and explore jaw-dropping landscapes close up. Looking for more of a challenge? Go climbing or canyoning, with guided excursions available that can deliver a truly memorable day out. Stuck for ideas on how to spend a summer day with the family? The Durlaβboden reservoir is always a popular destination of choice, whether you're looking to swim, surf, or sail.

In Königsleiten you’re right in the middle of the action: During the day, sunny, snow-sure ski areas begin right on your doorstep. From late afternoon onwards, you’ve plenty to keep you occupied and entertained in the vicinity. On the slopes and in the village, a hearty après-ski begins early, with no excuses for not joining in with the party atmosphere. At an altitude of 1600 metres, the village is even higher than the Gerlos Pass! Ideal for slope fanatics and lovers of romantic mountain panoramas. The Austrian town of Königsleiten is one of the most central municipalities in the Zillertal Arena. This charming village sits at an altitude of approximately 1,600 metres, making it an incredibly popular destination for ski lovers and snowboarders. However, outside of the winter months, there’s plenty to love about Königsleiten. It’s an ideal summer holiday destination, with all you need to kick back, relax and unwind. Alternatively, adventure is never far away when you enjoy a summertime break here. Lying on the border between Tyrol and Salzburgerland, the views are really something here. The snow-capped peaks slowly turn green as the summer temperatures settle in, while the Hohe Tauern National Park (one of the largest in Europe) provides you with plenty of ground to cover when you’re out exploring. Young and old can look forward to all manner of exciting activities and excursions when visiting Königsleiten, with no moment having to go to waste.
