Description

You can enjoy a wonderful stay with up to 12 people in this comfortable detached chalet, located in the quaint village of Königsleiten. You'll have a beautiful view from the sunny terraces at the front or the rear of the house you will have a beautiful view of the practice slope and the Pinzgau Valley. Or you can relax on the couch by the wood stove in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you have everything on hand to prepare a delicious meal! The Austrian dining area invites you to share a meal or play a board game. The chalet has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Two bedrooms have double beds and bathrooms en suite, two bedrooms have double beds and in the attic there is a sleeping area with four single beds (with limited standing height and open connection to the living room). One of the bathrooms also has a wonderful sauna, which is a treat!

In winter, you can reach the practice slope in no time before starting in the snow-heavy Zillertal Arena ski area. This ski area is versatile and family-friendly, with excitement and action for both young and old. There are many kilometres of blue, red and black runs, so there is a piste for both the beginner and the advanced skier to enjoy. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, there are various other winter activities you can try – step into a horse-drawn sleigh for a romantic trip or take a special snowshoe hike. The toboggan run is also an option and is perfect for all ages.

In summer, this is a paradise for the active holidaymaker! The beautiful surroundings are great for taking beautiful mountain walks or bike rides, or for sporting adventures such as climbing, rafting or canyoning. Various programs and activities are offered to help you get to know the Zillertal Arena and its beautiful mountains. Between the activities, try some authentic Austrian dishes in one of the many restaurants. If you prefer to slow things down, enjoy a good book on the spacious terrace back at the chalet.

In Königsleiten you’re right in the middle of the action: During the day, sunny, snow-sure ski areas begin right on your doorstep. From late afternoon onwards, you’ve plenty to keep you occupied and entertained in the vicinity. On the slopes and in the village, a hearty après-ski begins early, with no excuses for not joining in with the party atmosphere. At an altitude of 1600 metres, the village is even higher than the Gerlos Pass! Ideal for slope fanatics and lovers of romantic mountain panoramas. The Austrian town of Königsleiten is one of the most central municipalities in the Zillertal Arena. This charming village sits at an altitude of approximately 1,600 metres, making it an incredibly popular destination for ski lovers and snowboarders. However, outside of the winter months, there’s plenty to love about Königsleiten. It’s an ideal summer holiday destination, with all you need to kick back, relax and unwind. Alternatively, adventure is never far away when you enjoy a summertime break here. Lying on the border between Tyrol and Salzburgerland, the views are really something here. The snow-capped peaks slowly turn green as the summer temperatures settle in, while the Hohe Tauern National Park (one of the largest in Europe) provides you with plenty of ground to cover when you’re out exploring.
