Description

Holidaying in a penthouse apartment - now that's luxury! This apartment is located high in the mountain village of Königsleiten, a beautiful location that's an ideal base for a memorable holiday in this enchanting part of Austria. You can savour the scenery from one of three balconies, while inside, you'll find ample room to accommodate up to six people comfortably. One of the special features about this apartment is that the bedroom with en-suite bathroom has its own entrance! There are two double bedrooms accessible from the apartment with access to the balcony, ensuring you can kick off every day with a premier view of your spectacular surroundings. The two bathrooms have a large shower and sink, and the toilet is separate. The modern kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook up a storm, while dinner can be served at the modern Austrian dining table. There is also a comfy sitting area and living room to enjoy in the evenings, while a shared wellness area is also on hand so you can pamper yourself with luxuries like a herbal and Finnish sauna for free.

In winter, this ski-in, ski-out apartment is the ideal destination for the avid winter sports enthusiast. The slopes and the Dorfbahn ski lift are right behind the apartment complex, putting you close proximity to the ski area of Zillertal Arena with its many kilometres of freshly prepared slopes. Cross-country skiers also take this ski lift to the top, where the high altitude trail starts right next to the mountain station. Are you on the slopes for the first time? The ski school is within walking distance and there is a practice field in the village centre. Once the day is done, store your equipment away in the secure ski storage facilities, before heading up to the apartment and unwinding for the evening.

In summer start your day with a hearty breakfast as you admire the scenery from the balcony, before packing up your essentials and heading out to explore. Take your pick from one of many marked hiking trails, with a range of difficulty levels on offer to ensure everyone has a challenge worthy of their energy levels. If you're travelling with children, the Yodelwandeling trail is well worth a try, with plenty of yodelling fun to be had. Those in search of more high-octane pursuits can also enjoy canyoning and climbing, while mountain biking is also popular in the region. Keen to savour the local landmarks and attractions? Pencil in a visit to the Krimmler waterfalls when you're in town and get ready to witness a natural wonder you won't forget in a hurry.
