There's also a ski school directly opposite the apartment for those needing to brush up on the basics. There's more winter sports enjoyment to be had late into the evening, with the illuminated toboggan run an absolute must for the uninitiated. Once all the excitement is done for the day, retreat back to the warmth of the apartment as you cosy up by the fireplace.
In summer Hochkrimml is an ideal place to stay for those after peace and relaxation. Enjoy beautiful walks along one of many hiking trails or cycle routes, or head to the Durlaβboden reservoir if you're keen to take the edge off particularly hot days. Here, you can swim, surf, row and sail for hours at a time, while children can enjoy the adjacent playground. What's more, the stunning Krimmler Waterfalls are also nearby, making an essential stop on your walking tour of the region.
