In winter, Königsleiten is at its best. The village is the ultimate winter sports destination. Amidst the vast ski area of the Zillertal Arena, both seasoned and novice winter sports enthusiasts will find endless entertainment. Explore picturesque day trips, refine your techniques on the practice field, indulge in delicious Austrian treats in a mountain hut, and end the day with an unforgettable après-ski experience. For variety in the winter sports routine, Königsleiten also offers beautiful winter hiking trails, including educational routes like the planet route. For water fun with the family, head to the GipfelLiner at Kröndlwurmsee or to the reservoir Durlaßboden located at an altitude of 1400 meters. This lake is home to the highest surf school in Austria! Additionally, you can sail, swim, and canoe there. If you're not a water enthusiast, you can simply dive into a good book by the water's edge. For a more adventurous activity, take a ride on the Alpine Coaster, as it features a 3.5 km long toboggan run where you can reach speeds of up to 40 km per hour!
