Description

This comfortable, traditional Austrian two-under-one-roof holiday home is located in the cosy mountain village of Königsleiten, at an elevation of 1600 metres. You can sleep up to 12 people at Haus Vriens. Relax with your feet up in the spacious seating area or enjoy a meal in the dining area by the fireplace. In this fully-equipped kitchen, you can easily put together a nice meal. The sleeping areas are spread out over five bedrooms. There are three bedrooms with a double bed, one of which has a private bathroom. There is also a bedroom with two bunk beds and a bedroom in the sloping attic. At Haus Vriens, there are two parking spaces in the garage, the entrance of which is opposite the holiday home.

In winter, you can be at the practice slope after just a five-minute walk and from here, you can go all the way in the snow-heavy Zillertal Arena ski area. This is an excellent ski area for both beginners and advanced skiers and offers a large number of slopes. In Königsleiten, there are two good ski schools with skilled ski instructors. In addition to skiing or snowboarding, you can also take off from one of the toboggan runs in the area. Cross-country enthusiasts will take the Dorfbahn gondola up where the altitude trail starts next to the mountain station. After a wonderful winter day, relax back at Haus Vriens, warm up by the fire and talk to everyone about the adventures of the day.

In summer, you’re located in the perfect spot for a versatile holiday. For hikers and cyclists, this is an ideal destination with many advanced routes. With a range of different programs and activities, you will get to know the Zillertal Arena and its unique mountains. Overcome your fear of heights with the GipfelLiner or Arena Skyliner cable cars, or enjoy the rides from the mountain over the summer toboggan run. For the children, the Sparrebos Castle is a real paradise where they can climb and be active. You can also hop into the Dorfbahn gondola that takes you high up in the mountains to enjoy unforgettable views during a walk through the high alpine meadows.

In Königsleiten you’re right in the middle of the action: During the day, sunny, snow-sure ski areas begin right on your doorstep. From late afternoon onwards, you’ve plenty to keep you occupied and entertained in the vicinity.
