Description
In the serene valley of Wald im Pinzgau, you'll find the beautiful chalets of the Schöneben holiday village. This is a family holiday park where fun and tranquility are paramount. The Achental Hütte is one of these detached chalets, with enough space to accommodate up to 10 people. The living room of this split-level apartment is just a few steps from a fully equipped kitchen with a cosy bar and spacious dining area. The living space is attractively furnished and has a comfortable seating area with a double sofa bed and a stove. There are a total of four bedrooms, two of which have a double bed 210 centimetres long. There are also two bathrooms and a relaxation room with sauna and shower designed for luxury bathing!
In winter, you can take the free ski bus with your family and friends to visit two ski areas near Wald im Pinzgau. The Wildkogel Arena, near Neukirchen am Großvenediger, is a wonderful ski area for young families which has child-friendly facilities and lots of activities designed for children. But if you want a more challenging winter sports destination, you can try the Zillertal Arena at Hochkrimml/ Königsleiten. This is a larger ski area with many kilometres of ski slopes offering some wonderful day tours. Once back in the chalet, you can relax your tired muscles in the sauna and get ready for your next winter sports adventure the following day.
In summer, you can explore the breath-taking mountain scenery around Wald im Pinzgau itself. Need some more inspiration? How about a guided hike in the Hohe Tauern National Park to get acquainted with your surroundings? Are you a cycling enthusiast? Then you're in luck, because there are plenty of beautiful cycle paths and mountain biking routes. A visit to the Krimmler Wasserfälle is also an absolute must – standing at a staggering height of 380 metres, this is the highest tiered waterfall anywhere in Europe. But if you're looking for something less strenuous, you can also enjoy your chalet holiday on the Achental Hütte’s sun-drenched terrace – the perfect spot to catch up on some holiday reading, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.
