Schöneben Chalet Hohe Schwalbe

Description

You enter Chalet Hohe Schwalbe via the staircase. The home is part of the Schöneben holiday village in the pleasant village of Wald im Pinzgau. This is a family holiday park where fun and tranquility are paramount. From the hall, you can stroll into a spacious modern living room with its cosy central fireplace, which always looks so impressive. On one side is a cosy, comfortable seating area, and on the other a fully equipped kitchen diner. The dining area, decorated in traditional Austrian style, is the ideal venue for your social meals and communal games evenings. This chalet has four bedrooms, which can accommodate up to 11 people. Two of the bedrooms have double beds, while another has a double bed and a set of bunk beds. The fourth bedroom includes a set of bunk beds, along with an additional pull-out trundle bed. There are two bathrooms, one featuring a full-length bath and the other boasting a Finnish sauna.

In winter, there are two nearby ski resorts only 5-15 minutes away, both conveniently accessible via the free-to-use ski shuttle bus which can be boarded from a stop only a short walk from the chalet itself. If you prefer, you can also use your car to get to the large Zillertal Arena ski complex or the family-friendly Wildkogel Arena ski resort. Your winter sports equipment can be stored either in the shared storage room in the parking area, or else in the ski storage area in your chalet. At the end of a busy day on the slopes, you can put the chalet sauna to good use as you rest and rejuvenate your tired muscles. Once that's done, during winter evenings you can get cosy on the couch and enjoy the warmth and atmosphere created by the fireplace.

In summer, you can enjoy the chalet Hohe Schwalbe’s beautiful surrounding landscape from the balcony and the terrace. Can you already see yourself having breakfast in the fresh mountain air, or reading a good book and sipping a glass of wine? The children will certainly enjoy themselves in the nearby Kristall swimming pool, free to use for every guest for the duration of their stay. Do you prefer an active holiday experience? If so, there are many hiking trails, cycling- and mountain biking routes through the nearby Hohe Tauern National Park. One highly recommended item to add to your itinerary is a visit to the Krimmler waterfalls, Europe's largest (tiered) waterfall, which is a mere 15 minutes drive by car – or a very pleasant hours’ walk.
