In winter, you can experience the cosy ambience of a traditional Austrian wood-fired stove as you chat with friends or family about your day and plan for the next one. Both the Zillertal Arena and Wildkogel Arena ski resorts are conveniently close to this chalet. The Chalet Om Utens is the perfect base for a versatile winter sports holiday with options to suit winter sports enthusiasts at every level!

In summer, this chalet offers fabulous views of the Pinzgau valley and the surrounding mountain peaks from its spacious terrace. What’s more, Wald im Pinzgau is located at the foot of the Hohe Tauern National Park which boasts many mapped walking trails and cycle routes. Keen to soak up the sunshine? The balcony and terrace enjoy spectacular south-facing views, with loungers on hand so you can sit back and relax as you bask in the warm rays. But there’s also plenty to discover in the surrounding area, such as the stunning Krimmler waterfalls, a natural water feature you must definitely visit, and the WasserWunderWelt theme park, a fun attraction which is bound to appeal to your young holidaymakers. Or you could board the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn railway to explore some of the neighbouring villages. This train will also carry bikes, so you could plan a long bike ride on (part of) the Hohe Tauernradweg and then ride back in comfort on the train.
