In winter, you’ll be happy with the prime location of this premier chalet. This rental property lies between two popular ski resorts; the snow-secure Zillertal Arena ski complex and the family-friendly Wildkogel Arena. And with a stop for the free ski bus less than five minutes walk from your chalet, you will be at the top of a mountain in no time. When you return at the end of the day, you can store your skis, boots and other equipment in the ski storage room. Then, you can let your tired muscles relax in the sauna so that you will be fresh and ready for a bright and early start on the slopes the following day! But there is more to experience than just skiing and snowboarding! Wald/Königsleiten has an extensive ski trail network for cross-country enthusiasts, or you could join in an atmospheric torch-lit hike to the Krimmler waterfalls, or even try Europe's longest natural toboggan run at the Wildkogel Arena!

In summer, this chalet is the perfect starting point for a delightful range of summertime activities. You can hike around to your heart's content in the beautiful Hohe Tauern National Park, or take a bicycle and follow the Tauernradweg for a wonderful trip which will take you through several typical Austrian villages. And during your stay in Wald im Pinzgau, you really should make time to visit the wonderful Krimmler Waterfalls. Those who rent this chalet will also gain free entry to the nearby Kristall swimming pool, which is absolutely ideal for the children! The water slide will provide hours of water fun, and there is a separate children’s pool as well as a sunbathing lawn for relaxing.

Wald im Pinzgau is located in Oberpinzgau at the foot of the Gerlos Pass on the border between Salzburg and Tyrol, sitting at an altitude of approximately 900 metres. Wald is a pretty little village with a cosy atmosphere that forms a community together with Königsleiten. From December to the end of April you can enjoy sun and snow here.
