Schöneben Chalet Wiesenwald

Description

Chalet Wiesenwald is located in the village of Wald im Pinzgau in the Salzburg region. The chalet is part of the Schöneben holiday village. This is a family holiday park where fun and tranquility are paramount. Upon entering, you will step into a cosy living room with a glass facade that runs up to the roof and offers beautiful, unrestricted views of the surrounding mountains. From the living room, you have access to the unique covered balcony; the construction is designed so that the beams are left partly open, thus sheltering the balcony, but in an entirely unobtrusive way. This feature gives the chalet a decidedly luxurious look. Relax in the comfortable seating area beside the traditional ‘Kachelofen’ stove, or prepare a tasty meal with the minimum of fuss in the fully equipped chalet kitchen. Here, you will also find a typical Austrian dining area, so cosy breakfasts in a social atmosphere will be guaranteed! The chalet has three bedrooms with a double bed and one bedroom with a bunk bed and a trundle bed. One of the three double bedrooms has a loft bed above half of the bed, so that there is sleeping accommodation for 10 people in total. This makes the chalet ideal for a family holiday, especially with the 3 covered parking spaces that belong to the chalet.

In winter, you can ski and enjoy winter sports in both the Zillertal Arena and the Wildkogel Arena, and the Chalet Wiesenwald lies between these two ski resorts. The free ski bus has a stop within easy walking distance, and you can park two cars in the covered parking area. Wald im Pinzgau has its own ski trails which also connect with the 200-km-long Pinzgau trail, so cross-country enthusiasts will have simply hours of enjoyment! Alternatively, you could take a nice winter walk starting right from your chalet. In the evening you can fire up the authentic Austrian stove for extra warmth and to create a cosy atmosphere. Meanwhile, your winter sports equipment can be stored in a shared storage room in the parking area.

In summer, you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee on the sheltered balcony and finish the day with a glass of wine while enjoying the magnificent view. Chalet Wiesenwald provides the perfect base for a range of summer activities. Discover the beauty of the natural outdoor landscape while exploring one of the many walking, cycling, or mountain-biking trails. Or perhaps visit the stunning Krimmler waterfalls, Europe's highest tiered waterfall. During your stay, entry to the Kristall swimming pool at Wald in Pinzgau is free, which is a fun opportunity for the children, and also for you! The WasserWunderWelt theme park is another family-friendly attraction where the children can have fun and learn all about water in a mountain landscape.
