Drive-in maisonette Haus Arnika is located a short distance from the free indoor swimming pool and supermarket in the village of Wald im Pinzgau and has room for up to 8 guests. The home is part of the Schöneben holiday village. This is a family holiday park where fun and tranquility are paramount.After you have parked the car in the carport under the house, the stairs directly behind the front door take you to the living room with a fully equipped open kitchen, a cosy Austrian-style dining area and a comfortable sitting area with TV with fire place. The balcony/terrace of this house is accessible through the living room, from where you have a beautiful view of both the church tower of Wald and the beautiful surrounding mountains. A floor higher are two bedrooms with a double bed, one with its own sink and shower. There is also one bedroom with two bunk beds and a bathroom with a bath where you can relax after an active day in the Austrian outdoors. This maisonette is ideal for a holiday with young children and is equipped with a stair gate.
In winter, you can reach the large Zillertal Arena ski complex or the family ski area at the Wildkogel Arena in no time at all by car or via the free ski bus. The Zillertal Arena is high up in the mountains, which means you can expect excellent snow conditions. There are also many kilometres of slopes which connect to other ski areas, so the keen winter sports enthusiast will enjoy some wonderful day trips at this venue! The Wildkogel Arena has a range of facilities suitable for the whole family, and for every level of ability. And if you do visit the Wildkogel, a ride down Europe's longest natural toboggan run is highly recommended! Once you’re back in the holiday home, you can take time to relax in the comfortable seating area before turning in to get a good nights’ sleep. That’s the only way to ensure you will be ready for some more winter sports on the following day!
In summer, relax on the terrace from where you can see the church tower of the village of Wald and have a phenomenal view of the surrounding landscape. Haus Arnika lies at the foot of the Hohe Tauern National Park nature reserve with plenty of walking and cycling opportunities. During your holiday you can use the Kristall swimming pool free of charge—perfect when entertaining the children or if you are ready for a refreshing dip.
