Description
You’ll find the Schöneben holiday village within the welcoming mountain village of Wald im Pinzgau. This is a family holiday park where fun and tranquility are paramount. The Haus Wikinge maisonette is one of the Schöneben holiday homes and can accommodate up to eight people. From the balcony, you can look out over the Pinzgauer valley, a view that never fails to inspire, no matter how often you look out. The entrance to the maisonette is reached via a staircase. Stepping through the hallway, you enter a spacious living room with a sitting area plus an adjacent kitchen and dining area. From the living room, you can admire breath-taking views of the surrounding landscape through the large windows on the front and side of the house. The stairs to the bedrooms and bathrooms divide the space in two. There is also a stair gate fitted, which makes this property ideal for groups holidaying with small children. There are two bedrooms with a double bed, plus a third bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds (170 cm).
In winter, two adjacent ski areas can be reached within 15 minutes, either travelling by car or via the free ski bus (well within walking distance). Both the Zillertal Arena ski complex and the Wildkogel Arena have ski slopes suitable for novices as well as advanced winter sports enthusiasts. And there is plenty more to do than just skiing or snowboarding! At the Wildkogel Arena, you could try a ride down the mountain on Europe's longest natural toboggan run, or step into a horse-drawn sleigh for a ride through the romantic, wintery landscape. Two cars can be parked in the covered parking area beneath your maisonette. And after an active day out in the snow, everyone can warm up again by gathering around the wood-fired tile stove.
In summer, this chalet is the perfect base to enjoy everything this part of Austria’s Salzburg region has to offer. During your stay, you can enjoy free entry to the nearby Kristall swimming pool, while you're also only a fifteen-minute drive away from the Krimmler waterfalls, the largest tiered waterfall in Europe. What's more, this beautiful rural location is the perfect base for a variety of walks and cycle rides. Are you ready for something more challenging? Then what about going canyoning, climbing, or zipping along on the Mega Flying Fox? Whether you want exciting adventures or just a relaxing holiday, this is certainly the right place to come.
