This delightful drive-in chalet with wonderful mountain views lies on the outskirts of the charming village of Wald im Pinzgau. The home is part of the Schöneben holiday village. This is a family holiday park where fun and tranquility are paramount. Offering comfortable accommodation and stunning scenic views, it’s the ideal base for any excursion to this picturesque part of Austria. At Chalet Hochfeld Hütte you can enjoy a sense of real luxury during your stay. Inside, you'll find one bedroom with its own en-suite shower, there is a luxurious bathroom with a bath and a bathroom with private sauna room! It's the perfect place to relax, unwind and rest your head after a long active day spent enjoying the Austrian outdoors. This premier corner chalet is ideal for holidaying, with ample space for parties of up to 10 people. There are three bedrooms each with a double bed (210 cm), plus a fourth bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. The living room is adjacent to a sizeable kitchen, with a spacious dining area in Austrian style and a comfortable seating area. The south-facing balcony and terrace offer magnificent views of the mountains and surrounding countryside, which is perfect if you're looking to dine al fresco.

In winter, this chalet serves as the perfect starting point for winter sports excursions. You can choose between two great ski facilities nearby: the snow-secure Zillertal Arena ski complex which is a little further away, or the family-friendly Wildkogel Arena resort which is just around the corner. And with a ski bus stop within easy walking distance of your chalet, you’ll be on top of the mountain in no time ready to make your first descent of the day. And when you return in the evening, you can store your skis, boots and other equipment in the ski storage room. Then it will be time to head for a rejuvenating session in the sauna and enjoy all the space and luxury this holiday home has to offer.

In summer,
Chalet Hochfeld Hütte enables you to enjoy all manner of exciting summertime activities. Grab your bike and follow the Tauernradweg for a wonderful trip passing through some typical Austrian villages, or enjoy a wonderful walk or hike in the beautiful Hohe Tauern National Park. And you could plan a visit to the stunning Krimmler waterfalls, which are also nearby. But when you're back at the chalet, you can also enjoy a relaxing holiday taking a well-deserved rest or eating an al fresco supper on the balcony, or perhaps on one of the two sunny terraces. Wald im Pinzgau is located in Oberpinzgau at the foot of the Gerlos Pass on the border between Salzburg and Tyrol, sitting at an altitude of approximately 900 metres. Wald is a pretty little village with a cosy atmosphere that forms a community together with Königsleiten. From December to the end of April you can enjoy sun and snow here.
