And both the vast Zillertal Arena ski complex and the family-friendly Wildkogel Arena ski area are easily reached by car or via the ski bus.
In summer, this chalet is the perfect base to access the variety of activities this region has to offer. The Krimmler waterfalls, the highest (tiered) waterfall in Europe, is just a fifteen-minute drive away and is certainly worth a visit. You can also explore one of the many mapped cycle routes, or go on a beautiful walk starting right outside your holiday home. Wald im Pinzgau borders the Hohe Tauern National Park, a vast natural area of incredible beauty where you will never be bored. But you can, of course, relax around your chalet too, perhaps sitting on the beautiful terrace with a stunning mountain backdrop, sipping a nice glass of wine and reading a good book while the children have fun in the Kristall swimming pool.
