Excellent skiing and tobogganing for beginners and families
The Wildkogel Arena is a small ski resort in the Salzburger Land between Neukirchen am Großvenediger and Bramberg am Wildkogel, which is characterized by smooth runs and short distances. Both places are located in the high valley of the Salzach, between 800 and 900 metres above sea level. The actual ski area can be reached from both villages; it reaches up to 2,150 meters above sea level, the highest point of the lift. In total, there are 75 kilometres of mostly snow-covered slopes available, almost half of which are blue, ie. beginner. For the 17/18 season, a state-of-the-art gondola lift opened the Ganzeralpe and with it, 15 hectares of slopes for free-riders. The absolute highlight on the Wildkogel is Europe's longest illuminated toboggan run.Family friendly
